Couldn't really blog yesterday... It's not that I was tired.. But I had to do my History essay... Which I didn't... =.="... So basically, it was a pointless night.. Lol...

Anyway, we went to Berambang Island yesterday afternoon. When I first got there, only Vernon, Riki, a guy and a girl was there.. Then Mr. Holland motioned for us to go to him so we did. We waited by the school for the rest of the students to come.. Then Ms. Salwa came. Woah... Weird transition man. She really did have blonde hair.. Not exactly what I imagined. ~_~' She was still recognizable, though.. Hehe... Tiah couldn't come cause she had a fever... I wasn't really surprised though.. Cause the day before, she couldn't speak at all... Since she lost her voice.

Anywho, I stayed with Nisa who, luckily, for me at least, was very nice yesterday ~_~ We took a taxi boat to the other side, i.e. Berambang Island. It was pretty fun.. The ride, I mean.. The boys, especially Fawzul, were so loud.. XD It was as if they'd never been on a boat before. Well, it could be said for like half of the students there.

When we got to the jetty, we had to wait awhile for Mr. Holland, Ms. Salwa and the rest of the students (late-comers! =D). I sat with Nisa and her friend, Rahimah. They were really taking their time. So we took that time to take a few pictures. Fun, fun, fun! Lol... Finally a boat came. Just as the boat was about to reach the jetty, the front of it, the bow I think, actually tipped a little bit into the water! ;O We were all like, Woah! That was so scary man.. But they didn't go into the water or anything like that.. Just got wet.. Hehe.. I'm quite certain that Nisa's friend, Mufidah, who got wet from that little episode, is my best friend from Primary Four at PDS school... Seriously, I think so. I didn't ask her though.. I mean, it was a long time ago... Maybe 7 or 8 years ago (Yes, I actually counted =.=)... She doesn't look exactly the same but if I thought about it enough, she's still identifiable with the Mufidah I knew. Not sure about her personality though.. I don't have that good a memory. But she was really nice.. I'm glad for that.. I kinda miss, actually... But oh well.. I got Ziqah now, right?

So we went on foot to the mountain (hill?)... Let me tell you, it wasn't exactly a trip to your backyard. It was so far away man... But Nisa and I took quick, long steps. While everyone else stopped at the small shops, we went on (mainly because we didn't know they were shops =] )... We were soon between Riki's group of five and the rest.. A long way between them. Mr. Holland and Ms. Salwa had stayed behind to wait for a few more students who came that late. Nisa, Mufidah, Rahimah and I stopped at a turn in the road because we weren't sure if we should go straight or turn right.. We'd expected the others to catch up to us but instead, Mr. Holland came first! We were a bit surprised since he had stayed behind and everything. So we went on with Mr. Holland, Rahimah and Mufidah lagging a bit behind. We actually had a good walk from there. Mr. Holland was pretty good company. He was quite nice and friendly and everything. Wish he was my Lit teacher.. No offence to Ms. Salwa though.. He dropped us at the bottom of what I will refer to as the mountain (I'm not really sure of what to call it actually). He showed us this really fresh, clean water that came all the way down the mountain on a piece of bamboo. We drank it too... It was okay. I mean, can you blame us? We had walked such a long way. Mr. Holland did not look tired at all... Then he went back to wait for the others and we stayed in the shade of the trees.

When the rest caught up with us, they too went all sakai over the water lol... Then we started to climb. I must tell you, it was definitely no picnic... There were three flights of stairs and plenty of forest floor in between. It was so freakin' tiring man.. Not because of the previous long walk, but because of the steepness and my fear of heights. After the first flight of stairs, I felt crying when I thought about the fact that I would have to climb down that thing. Luckily I had Nisa with me. She didn't mind stopping now and again, encouraged me to drink my water and all that.. Mr. Holland was real nice too. I told him I might have a problem going down and he told me that later he would walk in front of me and I could just walk behind him. He reassured me, gave me advice everytime we saw him. I praised Allah almost every steep step of the way. I do that when I get scared.. I'm glad I do though.. It really prevented me from falling. Thank God! Thank you Allah so much for keeping us all safe yesterday!
I LIKE THE RAIN... NO ONE CAN SEE YOUR TEARS
We soon reached what we all thought had been the summit (which it wasn't =.=). We had to wait for everyone else though. When Mr. Holland reached us, he told us it wasn't the top lol... It was just a short climb to the top but the way was obstructed by plants. Sharp plants. Sharp, painful plants. Well, it didn't hurt that much but still.. When we got to the top, of course I couldn't resist taking pictures. The fact that it was a great spot for photo-taking really took my mind off of the height. I mean, it also helped that I mostly stayed in the middle, not too near the edge :) Then Afiqah and the others all talked about getting a helicopter to pick us up. I must say, I quite shared the sentiment. But it was great though.. I don't really think that the view was worth the climb.. We were supposed to compose a poem there but I guess Ms. Salwa was too tired.. Poor teacher... ;(

We stayed up there for all of 10 minutes and then we had to go. The descent was easier than the climb had been. Thank goodness.. I had been really worried. Luckily we were one of the first people going down so I didn't have to be anxious about people wanting to hurry behind us. Lucky, lucky me ~_~
At the bottom, we waited around for everyone else. A couple of people actually slipped at the last little hill. Woah.. I am so grateful that I didn't number among them since I slipped on twigs a lot and stuff.

When everyone reached the bottom, we began our walk back to the jetty. We waved at a lot of people, well mostly Nisa... She even waved at an old lady when I told her to. The people are so friendly and stuff.. I mean, wow.. If I'd waved at a little kid here in Bunut, the kid would be like, who the hell is this person and what does she want from me?? The island was so peaceful and everything... It was great.. Filled with friendly people and surrounded by nature. It would have been awesome to have been at the jetty during sunset which, unfortunately for sunset lovers, is Maghrib time so everyone has to be inside... I would really like to see a sunset... A real, live one.. That would be beautiful... Especially at the jetty with the wind in your hair... Again, we have to cover our hair and stuff so... I just wish my room- Ok I'm gonna quit with the sunset thing now. Shouldn't complain about these things. At the jetty, again we waited for the teachers to come. Mr. Holland had to stay behind and wait for the laggers. So Nisa and I went to board the taxi boat that was already there. We were at the stairs going down, it was real slippery, Afiqah and Muni were behind us, when suddenly Afiqah like slipped and her hand went through mine and without thinking I held on tight to it. Thank God that I did because she could've slipped further down. Must've hurt though. Ouch! XS

I think I finally got home at around 7 pm...

Today sucked bad.. It was raining. Well, the rain was fine.. :P The early morning was okay as well... I got to homeroom before the teacher took attendance, on my way to EAS class, I saw History guy ~_~ (oh joy!), Miss Nurul couldn't come to class because she was stuck in traffic and the class wasn't as cold as I thought it'd be. Since it was raining, there were a lot of worms in th hallway (ew!) and Nurul was like a scared rabbit when we went out...

I did not see CCLL at all today.. :( Ms. Salwa wasn't present either cause she had to go to the hospital for an appointment so I spent the hour in the library. I managed to do some work on my history essay... After break was when it got real nasty. Mrs. Izan was absent as well so another teacher substituted her. Talk about evil!! X.x Ugh.. She planned on making us write an essay. Luckily the first one we already did and the second was the essay we were supposed to do. So she told us to do it. Not bad right? Spending the hour doing our homework. Not exactly the worst predicament to be in.. Unfortunately, she spoilt the good mood by saying that we had to write 4 1/2 pages to be submitted today! That is wickedness right there, I tell you.. I mean, Mrs. Izan only told us to write 2 1/2 pages for one thing. For another, I only managed to write one and a half pages in pencil!! Aish!! (That's Korean for poop but I'm not sure about the spelling...) Then, in Socio, Sir Amirul returned our second test papers. I got one mark less than the first, which equals to a D, and you know what he said?? He said, "What happened?? I'm so disappointed!" I mean, what?? It's ONLY ONE FREAKING MARK LESS THAN BEFORE , FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! DUDE!! TOTALLY NOT IMPROVING MY FREAKIN' MOOD HERE!!! UGH!!!

Whatever... I slept through the afternoon and woke up some time before five... Now I'm doing my poem essay which Ms. Salwa has undoubtedly completely forgotten about.. Good me! Yay! :)
